Medical Authorization to Travel
Si viajás con una condición médica que requiere asistencia especial durante el vuelo, <br>es necesario completar el formulario MEDIF junto con la documentación médica correspondiente.
Who should fill it out?
This procedure applies to:
Passengers with medical conditions or who have recently undergone surgery: Individuals whose health may be affected by flight conditions (altitude, cabin pressure) or who require mobility assistance aboard the CRJ-200 aircraft.
Pregnant women from week 29 onward: Must present a required medical authorization. (Please note that boarding is not permitted within 7 days before or after the estimated due date.)
Passengers who require special equipment: Those who need to transport or use medical equipment on board, such as portable oxygen concentrators (POCs)
Deadline for submission
To ensure that our operations and health team can conduct the necessary evaluation, the MEDIF form and medical documentation must be submitted at least 30 days before your scheduled flight date.
Documentation Required
Make sure you have the following files ready before submitting your entry:
MEDIF Form: Completed, signed, and stamped by the treating physician (including the physician's license number and specialty).
Official Medical Certificate: Certificate of fitness to fly that explicitly details the diagnosis and specific assistance requirements.
